last week's weather has been a beaut and a tease. here in idaho there is no fall or spring, so there's no transition from heavy winter coat to short sleeves and capris...and last week we got a glimpse into the beautiful summer that's to come to rexburg. (and hopefully soon!) the high for the week was a whopping 55 degrees. WOWWWWWW
and then the trusty idaho weather slapped me with something like this...
i was at work and i looked out the window and what did i see? big chunks of snow and rain coming down from the sky. seriously? i'm SOOO sick of the cold and crap. so thats why i never get my hopes up when its nice out for once. i have learned while living in rexburg to never get my hopes up when we get nice weather. call it pessimism if you want but when the weather is really good for a little while, you can expect snow soon. but you can expect it to stay hot and nice in...august. then its all over in september. blah blah blahbut i can't wait for summer!!!!! i'm ready for it.

we've never been and i know for sure it'll be hot and sunny there. (at least it freakin better be!)
we decided to go cuz we live relatively close and we know if we're living somewhere like the great state of Texas we're not gonna make a huge trip out of going to a place like las vegas...so we're taking advantage of living out west and gonna see what the big deal is.
does anyone have any recommendations for the city of sin? besides drinking, gambling, naughty shows. etc. no bad stuff for these mormons. i've already found some stuff we can do and see. anything else out there?sweet.
We do!! We went last year for Valentines day and had a blast!
ReplyDeleteOur favorite thing to do there was we went up to the Lounge at the stratosphere. Yes. We went to the bar. BAHAHA. We didn't drink though of course- we just got the most amazing dessert! t was 14$ but way cheaper than eattng at the Top of the World Restaurant. It was incredible views and they had live music and very comfortable chairs!
There is so much to do and take in!

ReplyDeletewe went to a show called stomp the yard and it was sooo sweet, we also went to Cirque du Soleil (an acrobat show) and they were both so crazy cool, loved them all!!

ReplyDeleteGo to In-N-Out, Go see the Beatles LOVE show (you may need to buy tickets in advance because it's AMAZING!), Take a tour of the Hoover Dam, see the fountains in front of the Bellagio, go to the World of M&M and World of Coca Cola, tour Madam Toussard's wax museum, take a picture in front of the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.. just a ton of stuff to do.. Sightseeing on the Strip is pretty awesome. If you need anymore ideas, let me know! Hope you have an awesome time! =)
